A costed maintenance plan was developed, which dovetailed neatly into Freshpork’s funding allocations for the project. Champion required refurbishment of the seven silos at its Christchurch mill site. The refurbishment required the silos to be sandblasted and painted. Given the scale of the facilities it needed significant scaffolding and the job was to be completed in the fastest possible turnaround and with minimal disruption to the site’s daily operations.
